Isaiah Thomas recently joined the Los Angeles Lakers on a 10-day contract to help the team deal with player absences. The 32-year-old point guard played four games for the purple and gold, starting on one occasion.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Lakers will not give a second 10-day contract to Thomas, who will become a free agent. He averaged 9.3 points, 2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.3 minutes per game over the four games for Los Angeles.
