The Los Angeles Lakers will not keep Isaiah Thomas after the expiration of his 10-day contract. The 32-year-old point guard took to Instagram to express thankfulness to the purple and gold as he continues to look for an NBA contract.
“Thankful for the opportunity @lakers . THE MARATHON CONTINUES,” Thomas wrote on his Instagram story. Over the four games that he played for the Lakers he averaged 9.3 points, 2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.3 minutes per game.
Thomas is expected to receive interest from multiple NBA teams.
