Steve Nash opened up about the return of Kyrie Irving to the Brooklyn Nets lineup and how James Harden will benefit from it.

Nash believes the return of Irving will ‘take some pressure off’ of Harden, especially when it comes to playmaking duties.

“I think [Irving’s return] helps James. Having another player out there to draw attention, to create space, to take pressure off of [Harden], another ball-handler, another penetrator,” Brooklyn head coach said, via Clutchpoints.com.

James Harden is averaging 20.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game. For his part, Irving is still in the Health and Safety protocols and will need some time to return to form before making his season debut.
