Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns square off on Christmas Day in a battle between the two best NBA teams this season.

The Warriors and the Suns are the most consistent teams in the NBA at the moment and are on top of the West with identical records.

Phoenix is on top, at 26-5. They have won 15 straight games at home as well as their last five games. At the same time, Golden State is 0,5 games behind, at 25-6, and will seek to tie its fellow title contender.

The two rivals will face off for the third time this season. The Suns rallied past the Warriors on November 30 (104-96). Golden State responded and evened the odds three days later, thanks to a 96-118 blowout win at Chase Center.

Golden State and Phoenix will meet on Christmas Day for the first time. The Suns will play on Christmas Day for the first time since 2009. Meanwhile, the Warriors will play on Christmas Day for the ninth straight year and 11th time in the last 12 years.

The Suns will have their full roster available for the clash with the Warriors, who have four players in the Health and Safety protocols. Andre Iguodala is questionable for Golden State with a right knee soreness.

Phoenix is 12-6 on Christmas Day and 11-5 at home, whereas Golden State has won 13 of its 30 Christmas Day games. Game tips off at 5pm ET.
