Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a report by ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Carlisle is set to miss Indiana’s upcoming games. Assistant coach Lloyd Pierce is set to take the drawing board in the meantime.

Based on the league’s health and safety protocols, any member of the association has to be sidelined for at least 10 days or show two negative COVID-19 PCR test results in a 24-hour timeframe.

On Thursday, Carlisle was earlier shelved for quarantine protocols, as the Pacers and the Toronto Raptors canceled their practice sessions for safety purposes.
