Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the Milwaukee Bucks latest outing against the Toronto Raptors. The 2021 NBA Finals MVP was not listed on the injury report prior to the game vs Raptors.

After the game, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer provided some clarity on Giannis’ situation. The Bucks superstar felt discomfort in his right calf, minutes before the start of Thursday’s game.

The fact that Budenholzer said, “hopefully it’s something very short term,” is not ideal. Apparently, the Bucks superstar suffered a calf injury recently.

The Bucks have Friday off before opening a two-game homestand against the Miami Heat on Saturday and Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.

The Greek Freak was coming off a dominant performance vs Charlotte, where he put up 40 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists in 38 minutes of play as he led Milwaukee to a 125-127 victory over the Hornets.
