Orlando Magic rookie Jalen Suggs will be sidelined for an undetermined timetable yet after suffering from a fractured right thumb. Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium announced the update.

Suggs seemingly sustained the said injury during the 4th quarter in Magic’s recent duel against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, wherein star center Joel Embiid looked to have swatted hard the right hand of the point guard who committed an inside attack.

The No. 5 overall pick of the recent draft is averaging 12.3 markers, 3.6 assists, 3.4 boards while shooting 33.9 percent inconsistently from the floor. The Magic eventually came up short against the Sixers, 101-96, and now the worst team in the NBA so far with a 4-18 record.
