Los Angeles Clippers added to their winning streak as they rallied to beat the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Paul George and Reggie Jackson played an important role in the Clippers’ 109-112 win as they combined for 49 points.

George talked about Reggie Jackson’s impact and popularity among Clippers’ fans, after Jackson scored the last seven points for the Clippers, ensuring that his team maintained their winning streak.

“He’s a fan favorite, and honestly, he’s a player that can put on a show. It’s a reason why people enjoy and cheer for him because he can hit big shots, he can shake a defender, he can finish … he’s in the right place, right market,” George said, per Mirjam Swanson.

George led all scorers with 27 points, but the Clippers received vital contributions from several players. Eric Bledsoe had a solid 21-point game, while Ivica Zubac recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Clippers won their sixth consecutive game after starting the season with four losses in the first five games. They improved their record to 7-4 after Thursday’s victory.
