Andre Iguodala was not available for the Golden State Warriors during the team’s win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday. Head coach Steve Kerr share an update on the veteran’s hip issue.

The Warriors’ forward sat out the game due to a sore hip, marking the second time he’s missed a contest this season. Fortunately, Iguodala’s hip injury isn’t too serious, according to Warriors coach.

“If he’s banged up at all, back-to-back, or we’ve got a string of games, we’re going to try to find him some rest when we can,” Kerr said, per ESPN. “He said he’s sore but shouldn’t be anything long term.”

Even without the injury, Iguodala is expected to receive much rest as we are moving deeper into the season. At 37 years old, Iguodala is definitely way past his prime.

However, he may be available for Monday’s contest vs. the Atlanta Hawks, as the Warriors continue the eight-game homestand.
