Andre Iguodala made up his mind and announced that he will return to the Warriors this season. It will be his 19th year in the NBA.

Golden State’s head coach Steve Kerr talked about the significance of retaining the veteran forward and how he intends to use him.

“I think it will be similar to last year,” he said. “When he is right physically and ready to play, then he’ll be playing. He can still play. He showed that last year. At the same time he’s at the age where he won’t be available for 82 games, we know that.”

“His presence is gonna mean the world to us. We have so many young guys, the more mentoring and coaching from within, the better.”

Last season Iguodala appeared in 31 games for the Warriors averaging 4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 19.5 minutes per game.
