New Charlotte Hornet Kelly Oubre is enjoying a very productive start to the 2021-22 NBA season, as he’s averaging 16.3 PPG while shooting the ball 39.6% from deep.

Oubre had his best game of the young season last night vs. the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring 26 points and connecting on 6 of 11 three point attempts.

The soon-to-be 26-year-old said after Sunday’s win that Charlotte has been the “most fun” he’s ever had playing basketball in his career.

“It’s fun, it’s real fun. This is probably the most fun I’ve had in my career playing basketball. We all pretty much have the same goal in mind. We want each other to eat and succeed, and as long as we continue to keep that mindset I think we will have more and more fun throughout the year.”
