Derrick Rose returned to Chicago to face the Bulls, the team that he spent seven seasons with, winning the MVP award in the process. The Knicks ended up winning the game 104-103 to end the hosts’ four-game winning streak. Rose had 12 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist.

Ahead of the game, Rose talked about what it means for him to return to Chicago to face his former team. “I don’t have one memory because all of them formed who I am now — the good, the bad, the ugly,” Rose said, per K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports. “Even leaving here was pretty tough but everything happens for a reason. So when I do come back here, I get this nostalgic feel. Words can’t really explain it.  It’s just a feeling and vibe I get.”
