Russell Westbrook had his best game with the Los Angeles Lakers so far. The 32-year-old point guard was the second top scorer of the game against the San Antonio Spurs with 33 points in 40 minutes. He also added 8 assists and 10 rebounds.

After the game, Malik Monk, who started for the Lakers and had 17 points in 39 minutes, was asked if he noticed anything different from the way Westbrook prepared for this game.

“He’s always locked in as soon as we step in this building ready to play the basketball game,” Monk said postgame. “I didn’t see anything different. He just had to adjust. Took him a couple of games but I think he’s here now. He’s going to be aggressive as he is. He didn’t change anything. It is routine.”
