LONDON, Oct. 19, 2021 – The NBA’s landmark 75th Anniversary season that tips off today will feature a record-equalling 48 games in primetime in Europe as part of the league’s ‘NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays presented by NBA 2K22’ primetime initiative. Week 1 will see the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Atlanta Hawks live on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 23h00 UK time, with the Charlotte Hornets taking on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 21h00 UK time live on Sky Sports.

During the 2021-22 NBA season, fans in the UK can watch more than 190 live games exclusively on Sky Sports together with the popular ‘NBA Extra’ Daily highlight show.

7          The reigning NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks will feature in seven primetime games in Europe this season, the most of any team in the NBA, together with the New York Knicks.

7          The first NBA2K22 Saturdays game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 23 will feature atotal seven European players; Lauri Markkanen (Finland), Cedi Osman (Turkey) and Ricky Rubio (Spain) playing for the Cavaliers; while Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia), Clint Capela (Switzerland), Danilo Gallinari (Italy) and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (France) feature on the Hawks roster.
