Nikos Zisis officially became the new GM of the national team of Greece, the Basketball Federation announced on Sunday.
Zisis had a stellar career with the national team in FIBA competitions. He won the gold medal in 2005 EuroBasket, bronze in 2009 EuroBasket and silver in 2006 Basketball World Cup.
The veteran guard, who retired this offseason, played a total of 189 games with the national team of Greece.
Nikos Zisis also had a solid career in the EuroLeague, winning the title with CSKA Moscow in 2008.
