The Los Angeles Lakers continued their preseason with a loss against the Golden State Warriors (99-111). It was the first game when the purple and gold fielded the Big Three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.
Following the defeat Russ, who had 10 points 6 assists in the game, was asked when it can be expected for him and the rest of the team to show their best versions. “I don’t have an answer for that one honestly. I know that’s the question everybody keep asking,” he said.
“Nobody has a real answer for that. We’re just going to play, just like every other team and then we’re going to figure it out. We don’t need to figure it out October 18th, 19th.. whenever the first game is. We have one goal in mind and that’s to win a championship. Throughout the season there are going to be ups, there are going to be downs there is going to be adversity. As long as we are together and on the same page, that’s all that matters.”
