Kendrick Nunn joined the Los Angeles Lakers after his sophomore year with the Miami Heat. At the age of 26, he will be one of the youngest guys on a largely veteran roster.
The guard will have decorated players, such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, among others, as his teammates. During the Lakers media day, Nunn was asked what it is like for him to be around guys like James and Anthony.
“It’s a surreal moment,” he said. “But I’m also alongside with him as well so I have a job todo and I play up to my potential. Being a younger guy in the locker room is just.. I want to learn a lot from these guys a lot of veteran guys and it’s a lot of experience. It’s only my third year in the league so I’m definitely a sponge in the locker room.”
