NFL superstar Tom Brady for the first time in his career will visit the New England Patriots as an opponent after moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. The 7-time Super Bowl champion spent 19 years — his entire NFL career — with the Pats before joining the Bucs.

Brady is expected to receive less than a warm welcome when he appears at Gillette Stadium Foxborough, Massachusetts. LeBron James is familiar with such situation, having faced a huge backlash from the Cleveland Cavaliers fans when he left the team 2010 for the Miami Heat.

The Los Angeles Lakers star remembers the night of December 2, 2010, like it was yesterday. James thinks that it could get uglyat Gillette Stadium and that Brady needs to quiet the crowd the way he was able to do back in the day.

Via Scott Polacek of Bleacher Report:

“I remember that day like it was yesterday. December 2, 2010. It was rough. I got no sleep the night before. I already knew the adversity and how crazy it was going to be. It was very challenging … I know Tom did so many great things down there in Foxborough, down there with the Patriots. But they’re gonna root for who they root for and you know they’re gonna root for the Pats. It can get a little ugly. He’s got to go in there and quiet the crowd like I was able to do the night of December 2, 2010.”
