FC Barcelona continued its perfect start in the ACB, following its 64-82 victory over Gran Canaria on Wednesday night.
The Catalans took over from the opening tip (2-12) and retained their lead throughout the contest. They led by 12 at halftime (29-41) and 18 in the third quarter (44-62).
Gran Canaria never recovered and FC Barcelona cruised to the win. Nikola Mirotic led the winners with 14 points and a personal-best in the ACB 16 rebounds. Meanwhile, Dylan Ennis had 13 for the losing squad.
FC Barcelona (2-0) will now face Breogan on Saturday for the third round of Liga Endesa. Their EuroLeague opener is vs ALBA Berlin on October 1st.
