JaVale McGee didn’t beat his WNBA mom Pamela in 1-on-1 until high school

In this Club Shay Shay clip, the new Phoenix Suns big man JaVale McGee tells Shannon Sharpe that he didn’t beat his mom Pamela – a Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer who helped lead USA Basketball to its first-ever gold medal in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics – in 1-on-1 until he was in high school: “I was 14 or 15 years old when I beat her for the first time, but there were certain rules to the game.”
