Boston Celtics are hoping to make a big splash next offseason, and if Bradley Beal is not available, the team could target Zach LaVine, who will be a free agent in 2022.

The Bulls’ superstar did not sign an extension this year as Chicago tried to surround him with more talented players, like DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso and Lonzo Ball.

“A potential Celtics free agent target could be Chicago’s Zach LaVine, who is entering the final year of his contract,” Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe mentions.”… In the case that Bradley Beal decides to stay in Washington, LaVine could be the Celtics’ No. 1 target.”

The Bulls are not expected to lose LaVine after building their franchise around him the past year. The All-Star is going to get a big contract next offseason, with Brian Windhorst of ESPN claiming LaVine will have a market value close to $30 million.

Chicago will have the chance to pay him the biggest amount of money in the market. So, the Celtics will have to have the cap space and a good amount of luck to land the All-Star guard next offseason.
