Tacko Fall agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic. Fall spent the last two years of his career with the Boston Celtics.
Cleveland has 14 guaranteed contracts, so Fall will have the chance to earn a full-time spot on the team’s roster at training camp.
The Cavaliers will add Fall to an already crowded frontline, as they gave Jarrett Allen $100 million and Lauri Markkanen $64 million this offseason. They also used their third overall pick to select Evan Mobley.
Fall appeared in 26 NBA games in his first two seasons in the league, having limited time on the court. He averaged 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds.
