Dallas Mavericks and the former Lakers’ forward Jared Dudley are in ‘advanced talks’ about adding him to their coaching staff, per NBA insider Marc Stein.
Dudley spent the last two seasons as a key part of veteran leadership in the Los Angeles Lakers, winning a championship with them in 2020.
If the Mavs add Duddley to their staff, the veteran forward will meet Jason Kidd again as the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks.
Dudley was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2014-15, when Kidd was the head coach. Kidd was also part of the Lakers’ coaching staff under Frank Vogel while Dudley was in LA.
