Josh Richardson has agreed to a one-year deal extension with the Boston Celtics that will pay him $24 million for the next two years, per Shams Charania.

Richardson was part of the deal that sent Moses Brown to the Boston Celtics. Furthermore, the Celtics used part of Gordon Hayward’s trade exception to bring the two-way forward to Boston.

After spending his first four seasons of his career with the Heat, Richardson played for Philadelphia and Dallas, before he ends up with the Celtics.

He averaged 12.3 points per in 30 minutes per game in Dallas during the 2021-22 regular season. He was dropped at the end of the Mavs’ rotation during the postseason, scoring just 4.9 points in seven games.
