The Los Angeles Lakers have not completed their roster yet and have been linked to small forward James Ennis III.

According to Marc Stein of Substack, the Lakers have discussed the possibility of signing Ennis III, who currently is a free agent.

“For the Lakers, wing depth is more important than a backup guard. James Ennis is a name that’s been mentioned for the Lakers,” Stein reports.

The 31-year-old small forward spent the previous season with the Orlando Magic, averaging 8.4 points and four rebounds in 41 games.

After signing Russell Westbrook, the Lakers created their own version of Big-3 and are now focused on filling their roster with veteran and experienced players.
