Kawhi Leonard is expected to return to the Los Angeles Clippers; however he has yet to make his decision on his future with the LA franchise.
Robert Horry called out Leonard’s indecision on the matter, claiming that the LA native treats the Clippers unfairly. Leonard is usually taking his time, having the leverage to perhaps negotiate a better deal with the Clippers.
Leonard had a stellar postseason run with the LA Clippers during the 2020-21 NBA campaign. He averaged 30.4 points per game on 57.3% shooting from the floor.
He sustained a knee injury during the second-round series against the Utah Jazz and missed his team’s last eight playoff games.
The general sentiment seems to be that Leonard will re-sign with LA on a multi-year deal. What you cannot deny is that the Clippers’ organization and fans is at the edge of their seats as they wait for Leonard’s decision.
