Lonzo Ball will be a restricted free agent, and several teams are expected to show interest in signing the Pelicans’ point guard.

According to Shams Charania of the Stadium and the Athletic, the Boston Celtics, the Bulls and the Raptors are considered a potential landing spot for the versatile guard ahead of free agency.

The Celtics are expected to have the space to sign Ball, if they do not re-sign Evan Fournier this offseason. Ball could look to strike a deal in the region of $21 million-22 million per season, Charania reports.

Furthermore, the promising point guard and the Chicago Bulls have mutual interest ahead of the free agency, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

As for the Raptors, with Kyle Lowry potentially signing elsewhere, Toronto could look to replace the veteran guard with Ball.

Ball will be one of the most coveted free agents starting August 2. In any case, the Pelicans can match any offer sheet for the LSU product, who is a restricted free agent.

With several teams hoping to sign Ball, the young guard and the Pelicans could explore various options this offseason.
