The Los Angeles Lakers are putting pieces together for the 2021-2022 season. The team formed the Big-3 with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook and is now looking to build the roster around them.

Among the names that have been mentioned in the media, there are some familiar faces. One of them is Dwight Howard, who played for the Lakers twice, most recently he was on the team that won the championship in 2020.

According to Broderick Turner, Andrew Greif and Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the 35-year-old center is ready to return to Los Angeles and play center. Howard is an unrestricted free agent and is able to sign with any team.

This past season, Howard averaged 7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game for the Philadelphia 76ers.
