Zenit St. Petersburg made a huge signing ahead of the 2021-22 season as the team announced the signing of Shabazz Napier.

Napier played in the NBA since 2014, and this will be his first stint in Europe. The veteran journeyman played for the Orlando Magic, the Blazers, the Heat, the Timberwolves, the Nets and the Wizards.

He last played for the Wizards in the 2019-20 season, averaging 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 20 games. Napier is a two-time NCAA champion(2011,2014), with UConn being the Final Four’s most outstanding player in 2014.
