Collin Sexton is available for trade according to the latest reports, and the New York Knicks are expected to be one of the most aggressive suitors to pursue the promising guard, per Shams Charania.

Sexton is coming off a breakout year in Cleveland, showcasing his ability to score by averaging 24.3 points on 47.1 percent from the field and 37 percent from deep.

The Knicks were one of the NBA’s feel-good stories this season. Many picked them to miss the playoffs yet again, but instead they finished with the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference falling to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round.

Sexton’s ability to create score from the perimeter was an option the Knicks lacked this season despite Julius Randle’s All-Star level of play.

Sexton could be the answer for Tom Thibodeau’s team, which had one of the best defenses in the league during the regular season.
