Dallas Mavericks will look to add more talent around Luka Doncic next season, as they already chose to make changes to the front office and the coaching staff with the hires of Nico Harrison and Jason Kidd.

On a recent episode of the Hollinger & Duncan NBA Show, John Hollinger called Dallas a “team to watch” when it comes to Conley’s free agency (hat tip to Clutchpoints.com).

The Mavs were also interested in Conley the last time he was a free agent, but he ultimately decided to re-sign with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 33-year-old averaged 16.2 points, 6.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds while shooting a career-high 41.2 percent on 3-pointers this season, helping the Jazz win the Western Conference.

It remains to be seen if Dallas wants to put a veteran presence like Conley alongside Doncic after another first round exit in the playoffs the past season.

Dallas is set to potentially have a good amount of cap space, so they can make a sizeable offer in an attempt to pry the All-Star away from Utah.
