The reigning EuroLeague Final-4 MVP and EuroLeague regular season MVP Vasilije Micic will remain with Efes for the next three seasons, the club announced Thursday.

After pushing Efes to the EuroLeague title this season, Micic was expected to make the jump to the NBA, after a career year with the Turkish club.

The Oklahoma City Thunder had acquired the Serbian guard’s rights by the Philadelphia 76ers in December while it was reported that the Chicago Bulls could be interested in trading for him.

According to Eurohoops, the deal includes an NBA out clause for the next two summers. Micic spent the last three years of his career with Efes.

He had a career year the past season, averaging 16.7 points on 48.9 percent shooting from the field and 38.9 percent from the three-point range in 40 EuroLeague games. He also had six assists and 2.5 rebounds per contest.
