CSKA Moscow started working on the roster for the upcoming season and some changes are expected to it. In particular, Nikita Kurbanov extended his contract with the club, while Darrun Hilliard won’t be a part of the team going forward.

CSKA went on to win the VTB League and claimed the third spot in the EuroLeague Final-Four, which took place in Cologne, Germany.

Kurbanov’s contract is for one season with an option for one more after the 2021-22 campaign. On the other hand, Darrun Hilliard will continue his career elsewhere after a two-year stint with the Army Men.

Hilliard started in 30 of the 37 EuroLeague games the past season averaging 8.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

Kurbanov will continue to CSKA for the 15th consecutive season of his career. He had 39 EuroLeague games the past season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest.
