Chris Paul is back in the Western Conference Finals as he led the Phoenix Suns to a sweep over the Denver Nuggets in the Conference semifinals.

The veteran superstar took a shot to his doubters that wrote him off a couple of years ago. Now, after a comeback campaign with OKC Thunder last season, Paul is leading a contender to the upper echelon of the NBA postseason.

“A couple of years ago they were writing me off. This ain’t about me. It’s about us,” Paul said after dropping 37 on Sunday.

Prior to last season, the 16-year NBA veteran was considered by many to be ‘damaged goods’ due to injuries, especially during the postseason.

Now, Chris Paul and the Suns are four wins away from an NBA Finals appearance.
