LeBron James is set to change his jersey number next season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
As Charania reports, James will switch from No. 23 to No.6, which he wore during his four-year stint with the Miami Heat.
James has also worn No. 6 in international competition (Basketball World Cup, Olympic Games) for Team USA.
For his part, James’ teammate in the Lakers, Anthony Davis, will not change his jersey number and will remain with No. 3.
