In 2002, the Charlotte Hornets made a move down to New Orleans, Louisiana. The club now had to work towards building a new fan base after being in North Carolina’s basketball loving state for years. Former Hornet Baron Davis spoke about the change from Charlotte to New Orleans when he caught up with Matt Barnes & Stephen Jackson on their podcast.

“We would practice in Westwego, LA in a rec center until they finally built a whole practice facility.”
