Zalgiris Kaunas guard Thomas Walkup will continue his career to Olympiakos after he agreed to a two-year deal with the Reds, Eurohoops reports.
The deal includes an one-year option for the team with the transfer expected to be finalized in the next few days or hours.
The MVP of the Lithuanian LKL finals averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in the EuroLeague this season.
Walkup was a part of Zalgiris Kaunas in the last three seasons after starting his career in the G-League. During the 2017-18 season, he played for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg reaching the Basketball Champions League Final Four.
The 28-year-old guard has won three LKL leagues and two Lithuanian cups with Zalgiris in his three seasons with the club.
