Mike James took to Twitter and reacted to the loss of CSKA Moscow to Anadolu Efes (86-89) in the semi-final of the EuroLeague Final Four.
James said he was proud of CSKA players and how well they played in the game, despite their loss in the final seconds.
“Can’t hang your head on that one. Fought hard. Proud of my family over there,” James tweeted.
CSKA came back from a 21-point deficit in the third quarter (39-60), but missed crucial shots in the end and eventually got eliminated from the Championship Game.
James was one of the best players of the Muscovites this season. But, he wasn’t on the same page with head coach Dimitris Itoudis and parted ways with the club in late March.
