Aside from the injuries of Alec Burks and Immanuel Quickley, the Knicks have more issues to deal with ahead of the clash with the Lakers.
More specifically, Burks (left knee contusion) is questionable and Quickley (sprained right ankle) doubtful for the contest.
At the same time, the Knicks list Mitchell Robinson (right foot surgery) and Luca Vildoza (not with the team) as out for the clash with the Lakers.
New York wants to defeat the Lakers and secure its place in the playoffs. On the other hand, the defending champions are trying to exit the play-in tournament zone (38-30) and climb to sixth in the standings.
