Chicago Bulls will have All-Star guard Zach LaVine back by Thursday, according to Shams Charania. LaVine is planning to make his return vs. the Hornets.

Lavine has missed the past 11 games after entering the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols. He was averaging a career-best 27.5 points per game when he was sidelined, along with 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.

“He’s excited to be back playing,” Donovan said. “I think for him getting in the gym was good,” per NBC Sports Chicago. The Bulls lost 7 out of their last 11 without LaVine available.

As a result, the Bulls are trailing the 10th-seeded Washington Wizards by four games with seven remaining for the end of the regular season.
