Orlando’s Mo Bamba went for a career game in Detroit on Monday, putting up 22 points & 15 rebounds in 29 minutes. The soon to be 23-year-old has looked very productive since the Magic traded top big men Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon. Bamba acknowledged that he still needs to make improvements after last night’s win, as he knows a good opportunity is now in front of him.

“As far as tonight if you look at the stat sheet with a quick glance I think the stats are there. The points and rebounds are there, but as far as defensively with my presence I still have some work to do. I didn’t do my job as far as my pick and roll defense on the sides, that’s something to chalk up and just watch on film to get better from. I think I was 0-5 or 0-6 from the three-point line. There’s definitely room for growth there by just finding the right shots and making sure I’m playing within the right flow.”
