Markieff Morris shared his confidence about the Lakers securing their place in the postseason and avoiding the play-in tournament.

Morris said the Lakers ‘are not worried at all’ about the play-in tournament, as they will certainly not play in it.

“We are not worried about the play-in, like at all. I don’t even know what the date is for that, so if it is next month, it will not involve us. We are getting healthy at the right moment, this is perfect for us.

With this crazy season, with all these games, back-to-back nights and days off in between, without our best two players we have held it down for the most part.

Now we get them back fully healthy and ready to make a run,” Markieff Morris said, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.

Morris and the Lakers currently are fifth in the West, at 35-22. The play-in tournament will involve teams between 7th and 10th place.
