Zach LaVine had his first career 50-point game, however it wasn’t enough for the Chicago Bulls to overcome the Atlanta Hawks (108-120). His performance was reminiscent of the Bulls legend Michael Jordan.
While it was the first time for LaVine that he scored 50 points, Jordan has done it 38 times. When this statistic came up, the 26-year-old shooting guard stressed the legend that MJ is. “That dude is a ghost. He’s a myth,” he said, per K.C. Johnson.
This season, LaVine is averaging 27.1 points, 5 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game as Chicago aims to make it to the playoffs. The team is currently in the tenth place in the Eastern Conference with 22 wins and 29 losses.
