Kristaps Porzingis

Dallas Maverics were able to beat the best team in the NBA without their second best player available as Kristaps Porzingis is once again sidelined with an injury.

In particular, the sharpshooting forward/center was suffering from a sprained wrist the last few weeks, according to Mavs’ head coach Rick Carlisle. As a result, he is expected to be out without a return date available yet.

The 25-year-old is averaging 20.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 31 games this season shooting 48.3% from the floor and 37.7% from 3-point range since the All-Star break.

Porzingis missed the first nine games of the season as he was recovering from an offseason surgery to repair a meniscus tear.
