Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal feels enigmatic about being Conan O’Brien’s friend. Shaq sits down with Conan to talk about his uniquely philosophical outlook, being yelled at by Charles Barkley’s mother, how he decides which brands to rep, and remembering Kobe. Later, Conan reprimands his assistant Sona over a mistaken order of pens.
Shaq also revealed he got IcyHot on his junk the first time he tried it: “I had a thigh bruise and the guy rubbed it, but he rubbed it too high,” the four-time NBA champion said on Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend. “During the game, my little guys started getting hot.”
He had to stop playing mid-game. He tried to wash the IcyHot off in the shower, which made things worse. Finally he found relief by pouring milk on himself. “You guys, this company works.”
