Gary Payton opened up about the possibility of taking over an NBA team as head coach this season.
Payton, an NBA legend, once again expressed his desire to coach in the NBA and said he has a surprise coming after the All-Star break.
“It is still the case. I got a surprise coming for a lot of people pretty soon. I don’t want to announce it right now, but you’ll see it pretty soon in the next couple of weeks, I hope everybody will be excited about it,” Payton said, via Sean Deveney of Forbes.
If Gary Payton takes over an NBA team, he will make his debut as a coach in a team.
