The Los Angeles Lakers are going through a period when they had to deal with missing some key players. Once everyone is healthy and ready to go, the reigning NBA champions can do special things when the playoff comes, says head coach Frank Vogel.
“If you put Anthony Davis and LeBron James and [Dennis] Schroder and Trez [Montrezl Harrell] and Marc [Gasol] and KCP [Kentavious Caldwell-Pope], Kuz [Kyle Kuzma] the offensive firepower that we have on this team come playoff time with and elite defense if you pair the two of them, we can do special things,” Vogel said after the Lakers’ loss vs. the Kings.
“So the care factor is going to remain at a high level on the defensive side of the ball and it’s going to be something that we take into the playoffs knowing that that will help us win games.”
