Damian Jones addressed the back injury in his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
Jones said his injury is ‘nothing too major’ and he could play against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
“It’s just some stiffness right now. I feel like it will be good in a couple days. It’s nothing too major. It felt pretty good. I’m trying to get accustomed to the system, I watched a lot of film of how I’m supposed to play, and it felt really good to really help out,” Jones told reporters, via Lakers Nation.
Jones is listed as questionable by the Lakers for the game against the Phoenix.
