Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies is one of the most athletic players in the NBA and often makes highlights with his plays. Paul George praised the sophomore guard, after he and the Grizzlies crushed the Clippers 122-94. Morant had 16 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists in that game.
“He’s just fun to watch. There’s no other explanation,” George said per Tomer Azarly. “He’s so athletic, gifted, agile. I could compare him to like Derrick Rose with his explosiveness and ability to shift his body and move in the air. He just makes highlight plays after highlight plays.”
The 2020 NBA Rookie of the Year is averaging 19 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game for Memphis this season.
