Dallas Mavericks are not shopping star big Kristaps Porzingis, according to team’s owner Mark Cuban and Mavs’ head coach Rick Carlisle.

Several reports surfaced claiming Dallas is exploring the market for a possible trade for the Latvian big. As Dallas Morning News beatwriter Brad Townsend reported, both Carlisle and Cuban denied that possibility.

“It’s not accurate,” Cuban said. “We have not discussed him in a trade at all. Has not happened.” Porzingis recently returned from a knee surgery after suffering a torn meniscus during the NBA season restart last summer.

He is yet to find his form being out of rhythm especially in the defensive end as the Mavericks are allowing 119 points per 100 possessions when Porzingis is on the floor.

Prior to Tuesday’s matchup vs. Boston, which Porzingis will miss due to back tightness, Rick Carlisle denied Mavericks explored any trade options for his big.
